Bob was LeChuck's first mate and a skeleton who always (literally) lost his head. Even though he is LeChuck's closest man, he has very little screentime and appears mostly in short cutscenes to report to LeChuck. He first appears when he tells LeChuck of a pirate wannabe's (Guybrush) arrival on mêlée island. He later reports about the successful capture of Elaine Marley, the governor of mêlée island. He also Appears when Guybrush sneaks around LeChuck's ghost ship whilst invisible.
