The Rogers Cottage was the family home to the Rogers family.
It was located on a small island off the coast of Phatt Island only accessible via a secret passage behind a waterfall on the mainland.
Outside it was a grotesque monkey statue.
It extended into underground chambers within the island including a bathroom with an exit chute leading to the beach below.

Rum Rogers Sr. was killed in the bath by LeChuck and his remains were still there year later. During Guybrush Threepwoods search for Big Whoop it was home to Rum Rogers Jr.
Rum Rogers invited Guybrush to a drinking contest inside the cottage.
The back wall has a mechanism that opens a trap door to the cellar, but pressing the wrong brick, a slider will just send someone back to the beach; the monkey statue was designed so that, when holding a telescope, the sun's rays would show the special brick that will allow someone to safely reach the cellar.
Trivia[]
In early concept art, the monkey statue is seen holding a banana; this also can be seen in an early slideshow demo of MI2. In the finished game, Guybrush can give a banana to the statue, which has no effect.
