Rum Rogers' Big Whoop Map Piece was one of four that had been split between Captain Marleys crew.
Rogers kept it on him at all times, even after his death.

After beating Rum Rogers Jr. in a drinking contest at his cottage, Threepwood had the freedom to move about the house.
He discovered a trap door leading to a room where Rogers lay dead in his bath, map in hand. However, a slide prevented him from immediately getting into the room and he was forced to discover a way to turn the slide about so that he could ride it towards the bath.
Using a telescope and a mirror he located a secret button that turned the slide the correct way to enter the bathroom.
He was then free to take the map, though part of Rogers arm remained attached.
